SNA PROGRAM ON ENVISIONING THE FUTURE HEALTHCARE WITH TECHNOLOGY AMONG NURSING STUDENTS

The Program started at 9am in the Library VINS & RC with a dedicated prayer session and spiritual reflection opportunity for everyone with all faiths and beliefs, led by Mrs. Jency hosted by Ms. Anchana S Nair from 1st Sem B.Sc Nursing.

At 9.15am the event was hosted by Ms. Sarin Maria Tom, 3rd Sem B.Sc Nursing and welcome speech dealt by Ms. Abhirami P S 4th year B.Sc Nursing. The program honored to host esteemed guest welcomed Mr. Kavin Benny Rust Programmer, graced the program with his presence, delivering an inspiring class on AI and Robotic automation in medical field that set tone for the program objectives and aspirations.

The SNA of VINS&RC conducted a debate competition on 26/03/2024. The program aimed to promoting technology in Nursing and to foster the talent among the students. The debate was on the topic “Envisioning the Future Healthcare with Technologies in Nursing Students”. We had two groups, each group had four participants. The competition was judged by Dr. Jasmine Joseph, Principal of VINS&RC and Prof. Beena Chacko, HOD of MSN Department VINS&RC.

The debate competition was conducted in 4 rounds. The moderators were Mr. Ashby Deniel of 3rd year B.Sc Nursing and Joyal of 1st Sem B.Sc Nursing. Participants were Group-A Jesmon, Anukumari, Amelia and Ankesh. Group-B Keziya, Angel, Abel and Ankeh. Followed By debate competition the winning team of Women’s Day dance competition from nursing college performed.

Later the speaker of the day Mr. Kevin Benny took an inspiring class on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Automation in Medical field. A token of love was given to Mr. Kevin Benny by Mrs. Rani Paul, Vice Principal of VINS&RC and Prof. Beena Chacko, HOD of MSN Department VINS&RC.

Principal appreciated the winners Ms. Sharon Sara Pradeep and Ms. Ann Elizebeth of state level elocution competition conducted by ANEI and announced the winners of debate competition, certificate and gifts were distributed to the winning team and certificates were given to Group-B.

The program was a valuable experience and it served as a platform to exhibit the talents of nursing students of our college.
