REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY CELEBRATION

The International Nurses Day celebrated at Vydehi institute of Nursing sciences and Research center was a tribute to the invaluable contribution to health care and society which is organized by SNA committee on 13th may 2024.
The Celebration commenced with an invocation dance presented by Aleesha from 2nd Sem BSc and Gayathri from 1st year Gnm. Inauguration of the program done by Guest of Honors Dr.Reddemma K, Nodal Officer-National Consortium for PhD in Nursing, Dr.Uma Maheshwar Rao, Medical Superintendent VIMS&RC, Dr.Jasmine Joseph, Principal VINS&RC, Mrs. Joyce, Meshach Nursing Director Vydehi Hospital, Dr.Shreedhan, Principal VIMS&RC, Dr.Jagdeesh, Vice Principal VIMS&RC. Welcome Speech given by Professor Mrs. Mary Rexline. Flowers where showered as a respect and a tribute to Florence Nightingale was done. Dr.Reddemma had done the theme revealing followed by the speech as the guest of Honor. Felicitation was done by Dr.Jagdeesh and Dr.Uma Maheshwar Rao to the Guest of Honor. Later a Presentation by Dr.Jasmine Joseph was conducted on behalf of Nurses day Celebration. To add a touch of Celebration a Video of Salute to all the Nurses Where Presented followed by a speech by Professor Mrs.Rani Paul, Vice Principal VINS&RC. Best Nurses award for the month to each nurses from several Department, awarded by Mrs. Joyce, Meshach Nursing Director Vydehi Hospital.
As the token of appreciation for the Competitions conducted, Prizes were distributed to the students.

The Nurses day celebration has been concluded with Vote of Thanks given by Mrs.Porkodi Michae and followed by National Anthem.
