The program started at 10.30m with arrival of chief guest and guest of honour
The program was initiated with lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries Colonel Noreen John, Serving Lady Army Officer from MEG Center, Mrs.Debolina, Sr Manager Amazon, and Major Usharani Kumari Chief Operating Officer, Vydehi group of institution followed by welcome address.
Address by the dignitaries begin with Mrs. Debolina, Sr Manager Amazon, presented PPT on significance of International Women’s Day celebration.
Major Usharani Kumari Chief Operating Officer, Vydehi group of institution announced Winners of Women’s Role Model written post and appreciated with certificate and gift hamper by Colonel Noreen John, Serving Lady Army Officer from MEG Center, Mrs.Debolina, Sr Manager Amazon, Smt. Kalpaja D A, Chairperson, Vydehi group of Institution.
Colonel Noreen John, Serving Lady Army Officer from MEG Center address the gathering by explaining women empowerment and her personnel achievement in the Military Services.
Smt. Kalpaja D.A, Chairperson, Vydehi group of Institution address gathering by highlighting the Gender equality.
During the program group dances were performed by students of various department from Vydehi Group of Institution. Winner were felicitated at the end of the program. Nursing students( Gayathri, Anuska Sinha, Sandra M, Aleesha, Meenakshi) won the first place, Dental and BPT students won the second and third place respectively.
Major Usharani Kumari Chief Operating Officer, Vydehi group of institution appreciated Ms. Ankita Das 4TH YEAR B Sc(N) VINS AND RC for preparing made invitation for Women’s Day.
The dignitaries were felicitated by Smt. Kalpaja D A, Chairperson, Major Usharani Kumari Chief Operating Officer, Vydehi group of Institution. An certificate of appreciation was issued.
Ms. Anna Elizabeth 3rd YEAR B Sc(N) VINS AND RC proposed vote of thanks. Program ended with National Anthem followed with refreshment.
