Vydehi institute of Nursing Science and research Centre organized Awareness program on voluntary blood donation inorder to meet the demands of the blood bank to cater to needs of the patient, which is around 700+ pints of blood in a month.

On 26/07/23 Vydehi institution and research Center organized a programme about Awareness programme for voluntary blood donation. The programme was held at 3rd floor medical college seminar Hall at 11.00am . All the guest, faculties, students were invited.

PROGRAMME IN SEMINAR HALL

❖The host of the celebration Miss Anjana v 4th year B. Sc nursing and Anisha Mondal 4th yr B. Sc nursing welcomed all the guest.

❖Programme started with invocation song performed by Angel and her group of 1st year B.Sc nursing.

❖welcome address was given by Mrs. Renu Nathal 1st yr MSc Nursing.

❖Dignitaries ( Dr. Gaurav Chaudhary, Mr.Thyagaraj, Dr. Jasmin Joseph) requested to light up the lamp. All the audiences were requested to stand to honor the lamp lighting.

❖Dr. Gaurav Chaudhary, explained about the significance of blood donation.

❖Mr. Thyagaraj, Medical social worker, also enlighted the gathering regarding the different aspects of blood donation.

❖Dr. Jasmine Joseph, Principal of Vydehi institution of Nursing & Research Center, Bangalore, in her speech motivated the students regarding the need for blood donation in our hospital and addressed on certain myths associated with Blood donation.

❖The program was followed by a brief talk on the how to improving theoretical and practical knowledge . And congrats to the 1st year Bsc students for result.

❖Awareness programme for voluntary blood donation programme was concluded by Vote of thanks which was delivered by Sudipto from 3rd year GNM.

The progrramme was ended with National Anthem.
