Requires Minimum one year of work experience after obtaining BSc Nursing (Basic) in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution/community health setting.
For candidate with post basic BSc in nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation and should be registered with the State Nursing Council and NRTS as a registered midwife.
Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to MSc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country except for OBG specialty.
Should pass BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic BSc. Nursing degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by RGUHS, Karnataka.
