World environment day was celebrated at kannamangala school on 5^th June 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation by SNA and 1^st year GNM students. The event aimed to create awareness among students about environmental conservation and pollution control.

 The celebration began at 10:00am with a cleanliness drive within the school campus and surrounding area. SNA members along with staffs and students took part in clearing. This activity promote hygiene and teach the importance of clean environment.

 A tree plantation activity was organized in the school yard various saplings , including fruit bearing and shade providing trees were planted and some of the trees were donated to Ashram.

The main event was conducted in the school hall. The program started with a prayer song by 1st-year GNM students to invoke peace and unity. A welcome address was given by sukanya of 1^st year GNM, introducing purpose of the day.

 An interactive class was conducted using PPT by Nagarathna of 1^st year GNM. Topics covered included types, causes of pollution and eco friendly habits and importance of reducing plastics followed by a song highlighting nature’s beauty by 1^st year GNM.

At the end of the program principal of the Kannamangala school delivered an appreciation speech, commending the efforts of SNA members and 1^st year GNM students & encouraging their continued community involvement.
