CLINICAL
Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences is a hospital with 1600 beds, provided in the hi-tech medical college campus.

Consists of various modern teaching aids and computer assistance with internet facilities.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Building
Spacious, well-ventilated, and divided into the Administrative Block, Teaching Block, Library Block, Lab, and Hostel.
Teaching Block
Consists of well-equipped, well-ventilated classrooms with provision for lecture cum demonstration facilities.
Laboratory Block
Consists of well-equipped and spacious laboratory is provided for demonstrating various nursing craft procedures.
Administrative Block
Consists of Reception, Offices of the Chairperson, Principal, Head of Departments of various specialities, Faculty Chamber, Visitors Chamber, and Board Room with cordial staff to help the students and parents.
Library Block
Consists of well-stocked nursing books and journals with seating arrangements for comfortable reading with the assistance of a qualified librarian. It also has various non-nursing books, magazines, newsletters, and newspapers.
TRANSPORTATION FACILITY
Transport facilities for field trips, clinical, and observational visits, are available.
Separate hostel with a qualified warden is arranged in the same campus for girls, with full security measures. Hostel is compulsory for all the students admitted to this college. Food is provided in the hostel mess.
- At Vydehi there are separate accommodations for boys and girls, which varies from single occupancy to three in a room, these hostels have independent library in their respective buildings.
- The entire hostel complexes at Vydehi are ensured with 24-hour security, maintenance, engineering, power, water supply The hostel provides a cot, a mattress, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student.
- Every hostel has solar heated water facility, water cooler, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room etc.
- Adequate dining facilities are available for all students.
- Hostels have gymnasium and indoor games facilities.
- Mess caters variety of food to suit all tastes. NRI/Foreign student will be provided with single room.

SPORTS & RECREATION
The college provides sports and recreation facilities for the students. The sports facilities include outdoor games like volleyball, basket ball, tennikoit, tennis, shuttle and badminton. Indoor games like carom, chess.
There is also a large playground for atheletic and field events like running, javelin Etc..

The vydehi Institute of Nursing has a spacious library with 3650 books. Every year we purchase 250 to 300 books. Books are arranged subject wise. Separate accession register is maintained for books, journals, thesis, and projects and for CD-ROM’s. International and Indian journals are subscribed along with RGUHS -Nursing and e-journals. Journal articles are entered in the system alphabetical vise, so that students can search for the articles of their requirement. Students are also allowed to use medical college library. Every year students are trained to access & download e-journals provided from the university.
