The Graduation Day ceremony for the nursing and allied health science students was held on 8^th April 2025, with great enthusiasm and pride. A total of 131 nursing students registered for the occasion, joined by their peers from the allied health sciences.

The procession of all the batches of the students along with HOD’s, Chairperson and Guest started at 09:30 am after group photo session.

Formal declaration of the convocation done by Shreedhar Venkatesh, Principal VIMS & RC

 The event began with a Invocation of Ganesha Vandana followed by lighting of the lamp by the guest’s and warm Welcome address delivered by Maj.Ushasree Kumar, set the tone for a memorable and inspiring day.

Introduction of the guest given by Dr. Venkata Bharath Kumar, Principal of Allied Health Sciences. The Chief Guest for the function was Dr.U. T. Ifthikar Fareed Chairman Karnataka State Allied & Healthcare Council,Government of Karnataka, Syndicate and Senate member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences

A motivational Guest Speech by our Chief guest aimed at encouraging the graduating students to embrace their professional journeys with confidence, compassion, and commitment.

In recognition of the esteemed guests, a felicitation ceremony was conducted.

Dr. D.A Kalpaja The Chairperson of Vydehi Group of Institution  shared valuable experiences with the students, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the proud parents and shedding light on the promising scope of nursing and allied health science courses in the future.

Dr. S.J Shankar  Principal, Institute of Pharmacy administered the oath to the graduates.

The distribution of awards to RGUHS rank holders, celebrating their academic excellence. Certificates were also distributed to all the graduating students, marking the culmination of their academic journey.

Founder Chairman Dr. D.K. Audikesavulu award was given for the Best Outgoing Student.

A total of 131 nursing graduates received their certificates.

A special segment of the program featured nostalgic video presentations from each department, capturing cherished memories and moments of the students’ academic life.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Jasmine Joseph, Principal of VINS and RC, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the ceremony.

The ceremony came to an end on a respectful note with the National Anthem played by the college band.
