REPORT ON INVESTITURE CEREMONY – 2025
The Investiture Ceremony – 2025 of Vydehi Institute of Nursing & Research Centre was tentatively planned and conducted on 10th April 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the 2nd Floor Corridor. The ceremony was organized with the objective of formally conferring responsibilities on the newly elected student representatives and fostering leadership qualities among students.
The program commenced with an introduction, setting the context and importance of the Investiture Ceremony. This was followed by an invocation prayer, seeking divine blessings for the newly elected office bearers and the success of their tenure.
A welcome address was delivered, extending a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students gathered for the occasion. The election results were then officially revealed, announcing the names of the newly elected student representatives.
The Ceremony of Handing Over marked a significant moment of the program, symbolizing the transition of responsibilities from the outgoing representatives to the newly elected office bearers. This was followed by an inspiring address by Ms. Varna Dev, Secretary, who emphasized leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Subsequently, Ms. Ann Elizabeth, newly elected Vice President, addressed the gathering and motivated the students to uphold discipline, integrity, and service values.
The program continued with certificate distribution to the previous representatives as a token of recognition and encouragement. Thereafter, the President of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) Dr. Prof. Jasmine Joseph addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude and assuring sincere efforts towards student welfare and institutional growth.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support and cooperation of the management, faculty members, organizers, and students, which contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
The Investiture Ceremony was conducted in a dignified manner and served as a platform to encourage leadership, accountability, and commitment among the student community.
