World Health Day was observed on 7th April 2026 at 10:00 AM in the CTPN Room with great enthusiasm and active participation. The programme was organized by Department of Community Health Nursing and NSS, to create awareness about the significance of health and to mark the global observance of World Health Day.

The event began with the unveiling of the World Health Day 2026 theme, “Together for Health: Stand with Science,” by the Principals of VINS & RC and VSH. The theme highlights the importance of scientific collaboration and evidence-based action for protecting the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.  Following the theme unveiling, a drawing competition was organized based on the World Health Day theme. The competition was conducted in the 2nd floor open area, where students enthusiastically expressed their ideas, creativity, and understanding of health and science through art. The activity encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of healthy living, awareness, and the role of science in building a healthier future.

The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners by the SNA Committee. Their encouragement and appreciation added value to the event and motivated the students to participate actively in such awareness programmes.

The overall programme was successful in spreading awareness about World Health Day and inspiring students to understand the importance of health, science, and community participation. The event also provided a meaningful platform for students to showcase their creativity and contribute to the message of global health awareness.
