REPORT ON WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

On occasion of “World No Tobacco Day’’ we are from 1^st year GNM, participated in a rally conducted on 31/05/2024 by the association of BBMP, Bangalore. All students left our college at 6:00am and reached Freedom Park at 7:20am and from there we started our rally, towards Cubbon Park, chinnaswamy stadium, Kanteerava stadium, VSH hospital, corporation office then to the puttannachetty town hall. All students had their breakfast at 9:30am.

Program started at 10:00am where they have distributed the cash price medals and certificate for the participants in the events of reel competition, horse rally, cyclotrons, Walkathon, Treasure hunt and poster making competition. Also they have given token of appreciation to all the participation colleges. At last they have distributed medals and certificate to all the students.

The theme of the day was “Preventing children from harmful influence of industries”. In this rally, all students were involved to raise awareness of people about harmful effects of tobacco consumption. This event was beneficial for motivate smokers to quit tobacco.This event was held to educate people and about prevention, reducing of consumption of tobacco.

All students had a good time and experience. All students were really thanked to our principal for giving this beautiful opportunity to experience a new thing and adventure. So all students look forward for new experiences.
