REPORT ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION

World Environment Day celebration at Vydehi Institute of Science and Research Center was organized by SNA committee on 8th June 2024.The competition was to come up with novel practical ideas to save the environment around us. The program started at 10:30 and was hosted by Ms. Sharon Sara Pradeep of 4th year BSC (N) The judges of the competition was Mrs. Beena Chacko, professor of medical surgical Nursing and Dr Kavita Reddy, professor of Child Health Nursing. A total of seven students have participated in the competition and have put forward many ideas to preserve the environment.

• Jonny Roji [3rd sem Sc(N)-PPT presentation.
• Leon shajan [2nd sem Sc(N) – presented ideas about reducing use of plastic by making paper pens.
• Blessy Varghese [3^rdyr Sc (N)] – presented poster
• Angel Joe [3rdsem B.Sc (N)] present PPT explained about vertical gardening
• Joyal (2nd sem Sc(N)) presented PPT and explained about future methods to preserve nature.

Later principal mam has joined the program and shared her ideas on preserving environment. The program ended with the announcement of the result by the judges.

1.  First prize – Leon shajan 2nd sem B.SC(N)
2. Second prize -Ameliya Thomas 3rdyr BSC (N)
3. Third price -Jonny Roji 3rd sem B.SC (N)

All students had a good time and thanked principal ma’am for giving this beautiful opportunity.
